Diversity, equity, and inclusion are the foundations on which Intend Indiana is built. We commit to intentionally integrate our core values through our organizational culture as we define and implement internal and external strategic priorities. We will continue to develop and sustainably expand program services to underserved areas and individuals within and outside of Indianapolis. We will hold ourselves accountable by publicly sharing established metrics, maintaining a diverse and inclusive board and staff, and collaborating in meaningful partnerships.
Trent L. Garrett Fellowship
The Trent L. Garrett Fellowship was established by the Intend Indiana Board of Directors to honor of our esteemed colleague and beloved friend. During his career in real estate development, Trent was committed to improving the community and contributed to Intend in exceptional ways, serving for more than eight years on the Board of Directors, six as Chair. Trent’s leadership has impacted the lives of thousands in the community.
“My time here as the inaugural Trent Garrett Fellow was more valuable than I could have ever imagined. The exposure and experience I’ve gained in such a short time has allowed me to catapult myself into the development sector,” — Kevin Brown
