Why did you choose to use the Renew Indianapolis Affordable Homeownership program and the Homesmart Loan?
I had encountered a couple of instances with buying a home and things were not working out. My aunt saw an advertisement and suggested I give them a call. I did and it was a great decision to make.
What do you like, love and/or enjoy about the neighborhood you chose?
It’s a pretty mixed group of people and I could tell right away it was well kept and fairly quiet. Besides, it’s about 10 minutes from my workplace.
How was the process of buying a home through Renew Indianapolis?
It was a process but I had a wonderful group of people helping me through it all and for that, I am most grateful.
What does homeownership mean for you and/or your family?
It means family gatherings, bonding, just a place to feel safe and call home.
Anything else you want to share?
I just want to once again comment on the guidance and support I received from my Realtor Luce Williams, my lender Merchants Bank of Indiana, and Becca Murphy. They were excellent to work with. I completely appreciate them. Renew Indianapolis has an awesome program for people like myself.
