In this series, the Intend Indiana team explains how we partner with community-based organizations, non-profits, foundations, banks, and state/local governments to leverage resources and deliver impactful programs to meet the community’s needs.
Listen as Intend Indiana CEO Steven Meyer and Executive Director of the Kheprw Institute, Imhotep Adisa, speak about the Intend/Kheprw partnership and why supporting Black homeownership, removing barriers, and preserving the identities of neighborhoods is such an essential facet of our partnership.
Steven and Imhotep also discuss the IndyAMP Program and how mutual learning as partners has made the program excel since its inception in 2020. IndyAMP is a mortgage refinance program created to help Indianapolis homeowners who were negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The loan modification program allows borrowers to change the terms of their home loan by refinancing their entire mortgage, including late payments and fees.
