We’re excited to welcome Lydia Watson to the Intend Indiana team! Lydia will be taking on the Director of Real Estate Development role for our Affordable HomeMatters initiative.
Lydia C. B. Watson is a strategic impact leader with more than 15 years of experience advancing community development, equitable housing, and cross-sector collaboration across Central Indiana.
She is excited to serve as the Director of Real Estate Development at Intend Indiana, where she will continue to take pride in leading mission-driven development projects that expand affordable housing opportunities and strengthen neighborhood vitality.
Before joining Intend Indiana, Lydia served in multiple leadership roles at the United Way of Central Indiana, including the Director of Safe & Affordable Housing. Her work has spanned regional housing initiatives, federal, and philanthropic program management, municipal compliance, and administrative law operations for the City of Indianapolis, including the Department of Metropolitan Development and Code Enforcement.
Lydia and her husband, Pastor Gale J. Watson Sr, enjoy serving in their Camby ministry, visiting new coffee shops, and share a passion for learning. She absolutely loves being the mother of 6 beautiful and spunky children (Lilly, Zoey, Emma, Gale Jr., Jayla, and Bailey)!
