Intend Indiana would like to extend a very warm welcome to our newest team member, Joe Fillenwarth! Joe is taking on the role of Land Acquisition Specialist, and we couldn’t be more excited to see how they excel in this position.
As an undergraduate, Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in general studies with concentrations in economics, sociology, business administration, and operations management. He earned two minors, complementing his interests in philosophy and operations management.
Joe is an upcoming graduate of Ball State University’s Urban Planning master’s program and has spent his time at University specializing in working with abandoned and blighted properties in Muncie, Indiana. He also completed a thesis project researching the need and structure of a community land trust in Muncie.
An Indianapolis native, Joe is excited to bring the knowledge and skills he has developed in Muncie back home to Indy’s neighborhoods and throughout Indiana.
