By seamlessly weaving together new housing construction and affordable financing, HomePower, an initiative of Intend Indiana, aims to provide homeownership in the Martindale-Brightwood community.
HomePower was designed to create opportunities for equitable neighborhood investment and revitalization. This initiative will incentivize eligible homebuyers to invest in long-term home ownership. Benefits of the program include a 2% interest rate for the life of the loan, a homebuyer education course, and minimal closing costs.
HomePower welcomes its first homebuyer, Doris Barringer who is the first of many residents to benefit from the program. Doris encourages everyone who is eligible to take advantage of the services Intend Indiana provides. She adds, “the Intend Indiana program has been pivotal in my process of home ownership.”
